Disneyfication and Heritage

Dr Simon Thurley of English Heritage was speaking on Heritage and his views of “Disneyfication”. Archaeologists can be proud of Dr John Disney, the founder of the Disney Chair of Archaeology at Cambridge!

It’s been 100 years since the Ancient Monuments Consolidation and Amendment Act which arguably gave birth to the heritage industry in this country.
