Restormel Castle

Restormel Castle was constructed c. 1100 to guard the crossing over the river Fowey in Cornwall.

The castle features in the study of shell keeps in Devon and Cornwall.


Ralegh Radford’s guide has been replaced by the English Heritage guide written by Nicholas A.D. Molyneux (2003).
